PICTLOGICA FINAL FANTASY App Reviews

Its fun...I think

A good time waster if you dont mind stumbling around in Japanese. The stamina meter acts weird if your time zone isnt Japan time. Still amazed this was released in the US app store.

Awesome

Very complete. Many of the heroes from previous FF series are being brought in through constant update. I am hoping that in the near future, Jupiter will implement groups clans and events involving them. Would give it 5, but the game requires a little too much investment. Any event is near impossible to fully complete unless you spend lots of cash in it.

Cute but challenging

Solve puzzles to attack monsters. There are tons of missions. You can play for hours. I hope they will fix a bug which stamina doesnt recover if you play other than Tokyo time zone.

Give us a translation already

I cant believe that this app still doesnt have any translation. And I think the stamina bug hasnt been fixed yet.

The best game ever!

This is such a cool game. I would only ask for an English version ^-^

Please translate to English!!!

Nice game

The game isnt too difficult to understand but may require a bit of Japanese language knowledge in order to play. Also if you know what you are doing, the game is easy. One down side of this game is that there are certain items that are required as upgrade ingredient wont easily dropped. I started to play the game about a week before Deshi event (record keeper) ended. I didnt know what to do with the game for half the week. As a result, I didnt know how to build a team. And that I missed to get enough items to upgrade his book. Now I hope they will give us a chance to obtain it somehow. The game characters consist of 2 types - premium and job. Premium chars can be obtained via event or spent gems in plate mining. Job chars can be obtained via plate mining using either gem or Gil. You can grade premium chars stats and they can inherit skill from a job char. They can also be enhanced (plus). Job chars are for skill and complete normal quest requirements. Overall the game is pretty easy. Remember, you need to change your device time to Japanese time or you will get an error message. Your stamina wont regenerate too if the device time is not Japanese.

Language problems

SWEET MERCIFUL GAIA PLZ TRANSLATE WHOSE IDEA WAS IT TO MAKE IT ALL JAPANESE I DONT SPEAK JAPANESE and for final fantasy being sort of Japanese this could be problematic Do something my people beg of you well hiss of you rather JUST TRANSLATE THIS GAME

Great game, wish I had more kanji skills

Fun, interesting, puzzle concept is amazing. I wish they came out with an English version for America rather than just going "meh" and putting the Japanese version in the American App Store.

Please make this in English!

Fun game

Its definately a fun game to play

Its fun

What I could play was fun. I cant read Japanese so I had no idea what to do other than work the piccross puzzles.

Wish it was translated, but still a lot of fun

You can play 80% of the game without knowing any Japanese, and just experimenting with the buttons and learning the iconography. For dialogs: はい = yes (hai, sounds like Hi!) いいえ = no (iie, sounds like EA) For friend requests/mail: 承認 = approve (looks like a shogun helmet) 削除 = delete (look for the B shaped character) When I get stumped, taking a screen shot and loading it into the Google Translate app yields descent results to get a rough idea of whats going on. *** This is useful for determining what you need to do to complete the 2nd objective of each quest, since the first is always complete the quest, and the 3rd is always obtaining all monster drop chests (mythril, gold, items, etc...) Completing a row sends a character into battle, if the numbers for a row or column are yellow then there is enough information for you to determine a square in that row/column, tapping an incorrect square on an incomplete row makes the character skip a turn. Then the button at the bottom toggles between Power, Wisdom, Prayer, and Defense, which is aligned with the 4 spell/accessory slots on each character. If you know any katakana, a lot of the words are actually English words written in katakana (search the App Store for a kana drill app if you would like to learn) パーテイ = party (lit. pâtei) メモリア = memoria (a character in the game) アイテム = item (lit. aitemu) リスト = list (lit. lisuto) ジェム = gem (lit. jemu) ギル = gil (lit. gilu) The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that the in app purchases dont make any sense... The best deal is 150 gems for $0.99, and the more you pay the less you get (per dollar), like $7.99 gives you 1000 gems when that should be at least 1200 (150 x 8), then $70.00 gives you 10,000 gems, which is still 500 short of 10,500 (150 x 70) I really like the game, and would like to support it, but I would be much more willing to pay $10 for 2000 gems (500 bonus) rather than getting ripped off for paying more.

Complex but fun

It has a great appeal as there are so many different characters. It builds up and gets better as you play because things are constantly getting better the more you dedicate your time. It has its flaws especially since its not in English, but google translate and just thinking logical help a long way.
